African farmers are just as likely to overuse synthetic fertilizer as do our &quot;informed&quot; American farmers.  Why not show the African farmers, and maybe the place more emphasis with the American farmers, the benefits of crop rotation and nitrogen fixing bacteria/crops such as beans and legumes(Clover and Hairy Vetch)?
