Look at the effect on the economy of America of the two world wars and there she was producing flat out equipment which was for the most part blown up, sunk or scrapped. Think of the effect of a similar effort in which the resulting equipment produces energy independence for the country in question.

If the large countries would just wake up they would see that there are tremendous profits to be made in the switch to a carbon free energy generation economy. A group of individuals come together and pool their money to see if there is oil at the bottom of a VERY DEEP HOLE. IF there is; for some vague ereason they owe the world a piece of their profits? Some childish ideal that mean old CO2 caused by men is irreversably changing the climate? Malarky. Who shares the losses? Humans are happy enough to use the giant molecule (hydrocarbon) for their own purposes. Plastic, fertilizer, all manner of modern materials plus the fuel that drives all of modern civilization and makes it possible to b*tch about it all. Two-faced whiney ignorant children. Folks just do not understgand the oil business. Thus ignorance breeds very foolish ideas.

Let me get this straight.
