Isn’t it funny, in the runup to Bernie Madoff’s trial, there was all this speculationhe would only get 12 years, after all, he was former head of the stock exchange,but the moment it was revealed that Old Bernie had kept electronic phone recordsof all conversations with the Mafia families who fed finance victims to his network,and eight crime cartels were implicated by verbal recordings Madoff had kept,that immediately he was transferred to custody without bail, and immediately run totrial without any prosecution presentation, allowed to plead guilty to one charge, thensentenced to 150 years, not because of the crimes he’s alleged to have committed,but for the HIGH CRIME of recording the dirty money deals of those crime families,that exposes New York City and Wall Street as the maggot infested corpse that it is.That was his real crime, just like Richard Nixon, he implicated the Mafia behind the scenesthat exposes Washington DC and Mil.Gov as the maggot infested corpse that it is..”It’s like a soccer game. Make it easier to recover the annual rental value of oil in situ. Don’t limit the claim to oil under public property. Make clear the value of oil and all resources untouched is a value generated by society and proper for us to share. And propose a dividend, a la Alaska’s oil dividend. And show that if we recovered more of our commonwealth then we could cut counterproductive taxes. And if we shared more of society’s surplus, then we could cut addictive subsidies. Call this shift of taxes and subsidies “geonomics”. It’s worked wherever tried, to the degree tried. Once we’re off oil, then foreign policy changes, land settlement changes, the atmosphere changes, all for the better.The form above asks one to log in even after doing so. Fix it, please.
