Kathleen Hall Jamieson is director of the Annenberg Public Policy Center, which runs FactCheck, a nonprofit devoted to examining the factual accuracy of U.S. political campaign advertisements. She is also a professor of Communication and the former Dean of the Annenberg School for Communication at the University of Pennsylvania. Author of more than 90 academic articles and 15 books, Jamieson is considered one of the leading experts in the country on political advertising and campaigns.
