Anne B. Shlay is a professor of sociology, geography and urban studies at Temple University and a member of the Temple University Family and Children's Policy Collaborative and the Universities Children's Policy Collaborative, a joint effort of Temple University, Penn State University and the University of Pittsburgh. She is co-principal investigator of a study titled "After Child Care Subsidies: Family Independent Functioning and Child Success" and is completing another study titled "Leaving Welfare for Employment: The Role of Child Care Subsidies for White, Hispanic and African American Families." Marsha Weinraub is a Laura H. Carnell Professor of Psychology and chairwoman of the psychology department at Temple University. A nationally recognized expert on personality and social development in infants and young children and a frequent consultant on early development to national and local media, Weinraub has published widely in the areas of infant attachment, gender role development and family interactions. She is a member of the Universities Children's Policy Collaborative, a fellow of the American Psychological Association and a charter member and fellow of the American Psychological Society.
